Sa - Socom M1a

Anyone else drooling over the new SA SOCOM M1A? I've seen a few ads for them and I actually got to touch one out in Vegas last week. Its got a really cool optics mount that clamps onto the barrel and pokes right out of the handguard. Perfect for an aimpoint.

I'm kind of an M14 nut so I can't help reactions like this.

Looks really cool, but I'm afraid of the muzzle blast!

How was the weight? That's my biggest objection to the M14. (now that they've aparently solved the scope mount issues, and SA M1a reliability versus a real M14.)

I would like to get one of this SOCOM. It would be a "blast" to shoot.

BTW, SA sells the mount. You can install it on your M1A.
