most armies will just do anything they're told... even blow up aspirin factories in the Sudan with cruise missiles, or invade Iraq "to look for WMDs" that they knew full well weren't there
Oh Please!! Do any research that you like and you'll find several world leaders (Clinton, Clinton, Albright, Gore, Schumer, Kerry, Edwards, to name a few) on record stating that Iraq had WMDs. And we're supposed to believe that the soldiers knew that there were no WMDs(or that they were smuggled out?)?
If you want to accuse Bush of lying go ahead. You'll have to accuse a bunch of other leaders/politicians on both sides of the aisle and across the ocean too. But your assertion that the First Class Petty Officer, the Sargent, the Captain, or the Airman knew that they were "going to war under false pretenses because there are no WMDs" is laughable if not pity-able.
