My mother just gave me one of my Christmas presents, and it's a Benchmade Pinnacle 750 plain edge black coated ATS-34 blade (It has a Titanium Mono-Lock).
The box it came in looked fairly old, so I decided to do a little research on the knife. It seems that the Pinnacle 750 has been discontinued, and the plain edged are a bit more rare than the serrated types.
It is new in box, and I'm torn on keeping it as a collectors item or using it for EDC. I have a few rare guns, but I don't mind pulling them out of the safe on occasion and putting them through the paces.
I have seen this knife selling NIB for around $150-200 on forums and auction sites. Do you guys think this will be something to hold onto that will continue to increase in value, or should I just use it and enjoy it?
