Safety Bullet

If I want to keep an HD gun in any condition besides ready to fire I can do that without a device that will jam it if the trigger is pulled. There are plenty of ways to keep guns away from kids or others who shouldn't have them without taking a chance on rendering your own gun inoperable when you need it. I'm not qualified to offer legal advice either, but it seems to me like the guy is blowing smoke in the hope you'll stop saying negative things about his product. Since I can't think of anything positive to say about it I'll leave it at that.

oh wow
teh spelin ovar att teh safty bulit websit sez alot aboot teh ownr nd hiz intiliginc

What we have here is Ronnie Reloader making up a "special safety bullet" in his basement, and getting some guy he saw program a VCR once to record a NASCAR race to make him one of these new-fangled "website" things.
"hey bubba! ... make sure it has a dubbya dubbya dubbya thing at the front!"

The endless parade of ways to make a gun non-useful never seems to end, just take the damn slide off the gun, use a little pistol safe, or use a padlock, folks ... this stupid crap needs to end before more junk gets put in the box from every manufacturer at my (and your) expense.

Some idiot politician will decide that every gun MUST come with enough safety bullets to fill all the magazines in the box and the chamber, adding $50 to the cost of every gun to add a stupid safety bullet just like they added trigger locks, internal locks, fired casings, magazine interlocks, un-needed external safeties, safety levers, and "too dangerous to touch" warnings engraved on every surface.

The safety bullet DOES suck, and product reviews aren't subject to this nonsense trademark or copyright restrictions. I wouldn't worry too much about the company with that front page, unless they hire better lawyers than designers, copy-writers, and inventors.

Jeff H, I actually just got done reading a review for a game that was given 1/5 stars by the reviewer. The reviewer called out the majority of the aspects of the game, and in the end, basically said it should never have even been made. The review was written as the official review by G4TV, a major video game TV Channel and website...

I don't personally get many actual magazines, however if magazines didn't do it for some fear of being sued, neither would TV Channels, Websites, or any other large media source...

If someone dosen't get shot from the multitude of ways you can screw this up under duress, I will apologise, but right now it just seems like one of the worse ideas I have ever seen. And a sure fire method to get yourself or someone else shot. It kind if reminds me of the line from the "dirty harry" movie, "lets see now, did I fire 5 or 6", Remembering how many saftey bulletts you or someone else placed in your guns mag, assuming you may have several, is really a huge risk, especially if you are "down" and your spouse or son have to grab the gun to save your life, and theirs. Go explain the stick theory to him or her after they already pulled the trigger.

God, that safety bullet is retarded, and I can only think of one useful place for its designer to insert it.

No legal grounds, however, that will not stop the site owner from having to hire a lawyer to defend his position. I wonder if he can sue to reclaim his expenses once he wins?

I only learned of this marvelous invention today. I believe that we under estimate the creativity of the inventor and that he will be honored along with those same geniuses that tried to create those wonderful flying machines with the 18 wings that were in the newsreels of the '30s, or the bicycle launched personal rocket packs.

To clarify, anyone that uses this in a self defense firearm is putting himself and his family at risk, but I'm sure that all the perps of the world are grateful.

Darwin was wrong, otherwise we would have bred out stupid by now.

I can see where it might be useful to put on a non-HD gun to keep it kid-safe, but you really should disassemble it or use gun lock or just a good safe, for that.

My dad would have used it as a telltale. "Boy, you better have chased someone off, because someone pulled this trigger!"

Darwin was wrong, otherwise we would have bred out stupid by now.

Unfortunately, no. Stupid developed a survival mechanism: lawsuits. Darwinism suggests that reptiles developed feathers for survival. Stupid suggests that we ban lawn darts--for the children.

the safety bullet is retarded. lol. never heard of it, but if you dont want kids shooting themselves teach them about guns at a young age and keep the guns secured where they cant get to them

This has become embarrassing and is beginning to make us look worse than the guy being pilloried.
