Saiga 7.62x39

All I know is we should have bought them when they were around $300. Almost bought a wood stocked .308, I wish I had.
 
I couldn't find them last June when I went to the gunshow, none in 7.62X39 were there, but a Century Arms International WASR followed me home. You should be able to get a Saiga on gunbroker, just be prepared to pay a premium for one right now.
 
check www.classicarms.us , if they don't have them they will asap. They also have them already converted if thats your flavor.


Just checked myself, nothing is listed but it has not been updated since they took Thanksgiving off. It should be updated on Mon. You'll find alot of these places are swamped. you can also check www.atlanticfirearms.com
 
I bought one before the election (well I put it on lay a way and finished paying for it the other week)

I paid 380. Prices in my area of NY are usually higher than other places in the country.

Rumor has it on saiga12 forum that there will be a shipment in december, but prices are going up again.
 
I just put a deposit on a used one. Looked it over, is like new, I don't think it has more than one range day and a couple of boxes of ammo thru it. Paying $350 for it, planning on doing the conversion and putting it up against my current converted Saiga, see which one I like better and unload the one I don't.

It's my understanding that it is gonna be a long wait at this point. Shipments have been very erratic for over a year now. And given the State Depts. current feeling with the Russian/Iranian thing, it might get interesting......
