Sako Trg-42 new barrel trist coming?

Hey all-

I recently tried to purchase a TRG-42 in 338 Lapua Mag and was told there could be more than a year wait time for the rifle. Yikes! I read somewhere that Sako might be changing their barrel to a faster twist to stabilize 300grain projectiles. Does anyone know if there is any truth to this and if so, are they maybe in the process of introducing a new barrel?

Sorry about the confusion...My real question was whether there is a new barrel Sako is preparing to introduce. I would rather be able to shoot a 300 grain bullet.
