I'm going to be in San Antonio in April and I was wondering if anyone knew if any of these three places were posted 30.06:

Drury Hotel
Main Street Ballroom
San Fernando Cathedral

I was going to recommend posting on the texaschl forum but you beat me to it. It seems to me that someone started a thread on there a while ago that had a website which had businesses in TX sporting the 30.06 Maybe some searching there will come up with something. Best of luck. If I come across it, I will let you know.

I stayed at a Drury in San Antonio just before I moved here and unfortunately it was also prior to me obtaining my CHL so I was not as observant.

Email one of the SA gun ranges, they might know. Or call them. I've never seen a 30.06 sign at a church though. Or a hotel. Just remember, if you're gonna be drinking, don't be carrying.

Thanks guys - yes, it is my brother's wedding.

I checked the 30.06 database, but I was hoping to get a definite from someone who has actually been by one or more of the places.

And definitely got the no drinking while carrying thing down - that's standard practice for me anyway.

Calling them might get you the best results.....of course, you could also talk to someone who doesnt know what they are talking about.

i have never seen a hotel with a 30.06 sign as it is simply too ugly to put in your lobby, not to mention at every public entrance to the buildling. i seriously doubt you'll find one at the Drury Inn.

however i'd also be looking for 51% signs, especially if you are going to be hanging out with the wedding party. you can't carry in a licensed liquor (on-site conumption) establishment that derives 51% or more of its revenue from liquor sales.
