Can anyone recommend a FFL dealer in the San Diego area who charges a reasonable price to receive a purchased firearm?

I should have remembered GB for looking up a dealer...found one quickly...Thanks for the reminder, Chuck...;)

KMO - if you haven't yet done the transaction, consider Don Gussler in Santee (contiguous northeast suburb of SD). His website is gusslers.com.

His transfer price ($45) is good for this area, and he's an active involved firearms guy (president of largest local outdoor range complex). Also a rare "kitchen table FFL" sort (though not technically) who does his business out of his home.

For what it's worth, gunbroker has an FFL finder. Search either by state or by ZIP CODE. I did not know SD's zip; so I did a search of all of CA. Looks like most are close to LA from the map it showed.

good luck,

Dunno why it came up like that, especially since we have a whole County between SD & LA.
I put in La Mesa's zip and got this.

Hope everything went well for you!

Did he raise his prices? He's still better than any other FFL that I can think of.

Field Tester, don't know if Don's prices have changed recently, just wanted to make sure KMO knew about him. I've only had some gunsmith work done there, have not yet transferred a firearm.
