First Washington D.C. Does away with Guns, and Now is the Murder capital of the World. now there Sisier City San fransisco want to do the same, since they do not want to follow the 2nd Amendment then they should lose there Federal Funding, and they should also think about putting a Wall around there City, Because they are going to need it, because when there Guns are Gone, here come the Left Overs (Killers) heading to there Sister City to Help themselfs to what ever they Want, since they know NO GUNS to stop them.
The Main reason crime is still held down some what is not due to the POLICE, though they are doing a Good Job with One arm held down due to political People trying to control every move they make, but to People who Believe in the law and Keep a Gun for there Protection and the Thieves do not know what people have them at Home.

So How would you Vote For or Against the BAN.

I meant How should the people in san fransisco Vote

Not your Vote on the ban, But how do you think the people should Vote on the possible ban, and also Get rid of the Trouble Makers: Supervisors, that requested the BAN

Matt Gonzalez, one of the supporting Supes, is already on his way out. I suspect this is a 'last gasp' sort of deal.

Actually... the only reason it is going to be on the ballot is because it passed some City Governement Vote by one vote so it would not need signatures. I think that most people in San Francisco are indifferent to the gun issue rather than opposed to civilian possession of guns. I think that an all out ban on Handguns (if I remember right it only bans handguns for people who aren't in the business of securing the people) will irk people enough to get them to vote against it.

Very few people in San Francisco are natives. Most are imports from far away places like Asia, South/Central America and New Yawk & other East Coasters. The natives have fled and the place is overrun with imports. So, will they vote for the pan. I would say collectively they're dumb enough.

On the plus side the generally liberal columnist Joan Ryan came out against the ban.

Oddly enough Seattle's biggest problem right now is imports from SanFran who are screwing up the whole place.

Doesnt California have statewide preemption?

I was very surprised to see that. She's still a hoplophobe - she stated that she doesn't want guns in her house - but she did write a generally good column against the ban.

I still have yet to read anything in the Chron that isn't critical of it - so maybe that's a good thing.

The ban is on Handguns only.........so people will still be able to defend themselves with long guns. Either way what part of NO does SF not understand........
