I found, what I thought, was a sweet long range (500+ yard) shooting area yesterday inside an abandoned sandpit. The shooting was great, but towards the end of the session a problem was noticed that didn't seem so obvious when I started shooting that day: sandpits are filled with sand.:banghead:

After breaking down my TC Venture and cleaning it with a religious fervor, I still cannot get all the sand out of those hard to reach places. I hear the dirt grinding when i adjust the zoom on the scope and the legs on the bi-pod. So, does anyone know any tips to help cleaning all this sand out?

An air compressor and 110 pounds of air pressure would be your best bet.

But I doubt you can get it out of the scope zoom housing.

Or a can of computer air blow off if it gets moist in the action it could rust.
