Sandy Hook Rifle an AR?

The picture is grainy...but I don't think that is an AR.

The bolt operates from the side on the gun in this video.

Can't really see it well enough but IMO.....Looks like a Saiga Shotgun maybe.

It's not. Looked like an AK, or even a Saiga from the handguard. But they wouldn't have cared if it was a cross bow or sling shot they'd call it a glock or an AK..

They are reporting it as a Bushmaster

(not even going into the fact that it was in the trunk...not in the school)

From the local coverage here, he used a Bushmaster in the school, but had a shotgun in the car that he never used. In some pics in like like a Saiga, but I'm not real sure.

I have never heard a report as to there being a second rifle.

They said 2, then 4 handguns and a Bushmaster.

I suspect media theatrics.

They are deliberately using false information. There was no rifle in the school.

I do not know what the police are actually reporting versus the media.

But first there were 2 handguns inside and a rifle outside

then 2 handguns inside and a Bushmaster outside

then 2 handguns and a bushmaster inside

then 4 handguns and a bushmaster inside


BUT this grainy video does not have a Bushie in it.

My understanding was that the Bushmaster was used and found inside and the Saiga was found in the perp's car.
