Yep, Shawnee came riding out of the south in a minie wagon with my Christmas present gotten for me by my wife. She had originally bought for me a 44 dragon from bass-pro shop. It was not what I wanted so I took it back and returned it for Pietta Stainless Steel Remington new army.when I got it home I realized that the fit and finish on the gun was beyond repair and considering the price I shouldn't even try. They gave me my refund and off I went.I should say that Shawnee had offeredd a ss Ruger old army for sale that the trigger had been worked and the sights were modern. Shwanee offered it to me prior to Christmas but I couldn't figure a way to put my wife and Shawnee together so the gun could be a surprise. To shorten a rather long story, Shawnee and I met at a gun store in Hillsboro and I made the purchace. I am now the proud. owner of a fully sighted stainlee steel Ruger with all the boxes and the paper work. I can't wait to burn up some powder in this beast.
Once again I want to thank Shawnee for providing what will become a prize in my collection

ROTFLMAO !

... or maybe that should be " Ho, Ho, Ho " :D

Best part is I know you're going to love it the instant you shoot it !!

Here is the first 5 shots I ever fired with it - one-handed at 15 yds., and that was before the trigger improvement.

Mr. Pancho, congratulations! I know from your previous posts that you went through a lot of hassle to finally arrive at this point. Make some smoke...Okay...

While watching My Name is Earl last night I decided to familiarize (really mean fiddle with) myself with the Ruger. Read the manual on how to remove the cylinder and proceeded to take it apart dividing my mind between Earl and the gun the next thing I know the loading ram is in 3 pieces in my lap OH S--t! It didn't take long to figure out that it was designed to do that and the gun was back together. Whew!
