The thing is, saps are against the law in almost any place you can name.
Even cops are not allowed to carry them anymore.

Getting caught carrying one will get you thrown in the slammer faster then shoplifting in most places.

To buy one for use against another is a mistake imho...waste of money and puts you on shakey ground as a rule...

Sap gloves were my favorite long ago, but they took them away also, going back to leather gloves, filling the fingers with rolls of pennies is a good one, but alas a felony

Saps, blackjacks, and "slung shot" are covered under the Florida Concealed Weapon OR Firearm license. If you have the CWL, you can carry a sap, too. A few ounces of lead birdshot tied up in an old sock or a bandana makes a handy slung shot that can be put together for very little cost.

Harley,you must be as old as me. Many an unsuspecting perp thought he could fight with a small cop and met Mr. Sap glove. Ya, good times.
