No rifle, but ordered a pistol from them a few years ago. Everything was just as they said.

Bought a couple of Swedish Mausers from them about 10-12 yrs. ago. The guns were what they said.

They are also a good place to get older parts from, if they have them in stock. Lately, their shelves are like most other places.

Poor service and communication in my experience. They have special wooden cases for the FN-49 and thought it would be nice collectors item to go with the rifles. Ordered it up and after a couple weeks gave them a call to see if it would ship anytime soon. They had no idea what happened with the order and it took a bunch of different people before anyone could even answer a question. Redid the order and pretty much the same thing except waited a month or so, they couldn't tell me when it would be processed. Tried calling a few more times but nobody can seem to tell me what happened to the order. That was about a year ago, still haven't heard or seen anything from them. At least they didn't bill my card. Last I checked they still had it listed in Shotgun news ads and on their web site though they have raised the price significantly.

Out of curiosity I just checked their web site and it still says that the e commerce site is coming soon.... been that way for months and months now.

They do have (or at least claim to have) a lot of very hard to find parts so I can't say I would never try to order from them again. But I will exhaust all other options before attempting to order anything from them again. I would much rather pay a couple bucks more and get what I'm looking for rather than deal with the hassle. It's really unfortunate they can't run the operation a bit better.

Will agree with the poor communication. But, that never happened to me until the "election rush" started. Before the election someone always answered the phone, now it is sometimes hit or miss, but eventually, if you call enough, someone will answer. I think they are just a smaller company that became overwhelmed due to election or other reasons and just never overcame it. They were better a few years ago. That is just me and my opinion. I am sure, as with any company, you can find people that has good and bad experiences.

I know some of their out of stock items that they say will be in in 4 to 6 weeks has been going on for almost 6 months and still out of stock.

Their website has always been terrible, that is usually why I always call.

won't go there!!!

i ordered about 100 dollars worth of parts from them back in the early '90's. with the exception of a "parts tin" container, all went well. the container was a stamped steel unit with friction fit lid, similar to what chewing tobacco came in back in the day. it was advertised as a 1911 spare parts package. it was only about five dollars, but back then one could have bought quite an assortment of surplus 1911 parts for that price. all i got was the [empty] tin container. i will concede that it was an olive drab unit that was definitely a mil-surp. but there was no collector premium on these back then, and that remains true now, some 15 years later....

what finally removed me from their customer list was the month and a half it took to get two messages back and forth between us, and the snotty responces of the sales rep i talked to when it became obvious the standard snail mail route was going NOWHERE. the rep told me the tin was ALL the "package" consisted of, in spite of the obvious inconsistency in pricing. was pretty much an "if you don't like it, lump it" responce. and i was given the option of paying to return the item, for more freight than it originally had cost me.

in their defence, that was right when numrich and sarco were merging, may have been some staffing probs getting sorted out at the time. but the sales rep's bad altitude was more than i'm willing to pay for again!

I live a town over from them, I have had no trouble with service. I got my Yugo SKS and a 10/22 from them. I believe the hassel from the NJSP is over as they seem to have a selection of new guns in stock, not just used and surplus.
