It's
Hogue model# 75000. AFAIK, Hogue only makes one wraparound rubber grip for the CZ family of pistols (including all clones). The rest are all separate panels of various exotic woods.
I don't think anybody makes a similar grip for the CZ Compact. I just picked up another Hogue #75000 at the local gun shop for $20 and will fit it on the Hancer tonight. As nice as the factory rubber grip panels are on the Hancer, I just really love how the Hogue feels.
Just about any CZ mag will fit the Hancer. I have tried factory CZ , Mec-Gar and even an el cheapo National Magazine. The Kama is a different story. It's magazine well is just a tad longer than the "real" CZ full-size, and so are the Kama factory mags. CZ75 full-size mags can be made to fit inside the Kama by filing the top of the magazine release hole open a bit more - just enough for the magazing catch lever to lock in. Problem is, though, that mag will now fit the "real" CZ a bit loose. If you don't ever intend on reselling the mag, that's probably not a big deal.
Alternatively, you can get the extended 20rd or 30rd CZ mags, which will most likely require no modification, since they are going to be way longer than the Kama magazine well. I am going to order a 20rd to try. The 30rd is bit too much for me.
Curiously, the el cheapo National Magazine CZ75/85 mag (last one on right)actually fits the Kama just fine. The quality & finish though leaves a lot to be desired. The mag surface is very rough - not the smooth mirror-like finish on most mags (even Pro-Mag ones). I bought one for $10 from Cabela's just for giggles. I think I could make it better by polishing it up nice and then reblue it, but it's a lot of work just a save a few bucks.
As far as reliability is concerned, other than an initial hiccup with my Hancer, which can be blamed on my taking it out-of-box straight to the range, I've had no problem with either pistol for about 300rd combined so far. And that's with mostly Academy's store brand ammo. I actually shot my CHL qualification with the Kama last Weekend. Out of a class of about 35 students, probably 75% had some type of malfunction (jams, FTF, etc.). There were Springfields, Glocks, Berettas, Sigs, Kel-tec, etc. My Sarsilmaz and another guy's Daewoo were among the few that didn't have any problems. The instructor said it was the absolutely most gun malfunction he had ever seen over the years teaching CHL. Most of us blamed it on the cold temp - 20~30F outside is as cold as Houston gets. This particular range didn't have heat, and we all had to wear out jackets shootin'.
I am not the best person to judge accuracy. Up till a few weeks ago, I haven't shot in many years, and I've never been much of a marksman anyhow. Suffice to say the Sarsilmazs shoots better than I can. With the Kama, I got a 246 out of 250 for the CHL qualification score.
