I switched over my 1911 to .22lr... then spent 6 hours straight shooting and loading mags at the range.
Showed up with just short of 2 bricks... left with all ammo expended. In terms of straight-up round count it was at least the equal of any other 3 range days in my life
It was sunny and tshirt weather at Francis Marion national forest. I started out with paper targets, cans and bottles... by the end of the day there were no spent shotgun shells in my lane or the 2 or 3 to either side (and I was getting a good hit % on them out to about 20 yards... toss one out... bang bang bang watch it fly out too far to be seen/sighted in on)
So who else took advantage of the awesome weather down south this weekend to sling some lead?
