Is it the one with the digital camo? Probably 600 yards or better if you know what you are doing. I started to buy the 20" Savage with the digital camo, but the camo pattern could not grow on me. I bought the Model 10 in .308 Light Varmint with stainless and fluted barrel instead and it is a great shooting rifle. The accu-trigger and accu-stock along with the somewhat heavy barrell really help.
I can say it is shooting just fine out to 300 yards for me. One of these days I will take it up to the new range that has just opened up (around our parts, I see you are in Round Rock) and see what it can do out a little further.
I did have some fun getting the scope mounted just like I wanted and ended up with a 20MOA base to give me enough adjustment to zero out past 300 yards. I am not sure if that was a issue with my gun, or the Precision Carbine in general.
I reload, and have had good luck for 168gr and 180gr pills sitting on 42-43 grains of Varget.
I wasn't so sure I liked the digital camo at first when I got it, but it has grown on me since.
