I am looking at ordering one of these guns. My question is, what is the adjustable trigger pull weight for this model? I have seen that it adjustbale down to 1.5#, but I thought tactical accutriggers were only adjustable down to 3-3.5#?

Any one have info or website as to all differeny models with what weight of accutrigger that they have?

Also is it hard to change/modify the parts to decrease the accutrigger weight?

Thanks from a newbie!

I thought all accutriggers were the same. Other members might know more than me though, but I will probably order one of these too.

I was under the impression they're 3 different "models" of the accutrigger

A "regular," "Tactical," and "Target"

I could be wrong too.. I dont know. hard to find definite info on it though, but I do know different models have different weights of pull adjustability. Mainly for liability reasons I am sure...

I think mrracer is right. There are a few different models... some of their target triggers are adjustable to well under 1#.

From Savage's police site.

All rifles in this series offer standard features like oversized bolt handles permitting rapid acquisition for follow-up shots. And, Savage's crisp, creep-free AccuTrigger allows you to easily adjust trigger pull weight from approximately 1 1/2 to 6 pounds. With stock choices like the well-known H-S Precision Tactical, the Choate or the McMillan, this series is a must for today's security forces.

So it looks like all the tacticals are adjustable to 1.5. Don't get the HS precision stock.. bad folks.

Remove the glock blade and dial the trigger down and you won't need to do anything else

Apparently there are 3 triggers because I know the target accutrigger as found on the LRPV can be adjusted down to a load only when ready to shoot few OZ

My 10FP is set at 1.5, with no mods, my MKII is set at 1.5 with a coil cut off the spring. I followed Krochus's advice, and removed the blade on my MKII, much nicer;)

I used to be really down on what I used to call the accu/glock trigger till I learned the guys over on Savage Shooters were simply removing the Glock part and discarding it with no ill effects.

Now I appreciate them more sans blade of course:neener:
