Savage 10FP_SR Choate Stock

Does anyone know if the Choate stocks: Savage Short Action Sniper Center Feed Stock or the Tactical Stock Savage Short Action Detachable Magazine will fit the 10fp-sr?

If you don't have the bottom metal for a detachable mag, get the one that has the blind magazine, and double check your screw spacing. You can buy the bottom metal you will need, but they are a little bit spendy. 4.4" is correct for the new ones. (But make sure you double check your rifle.)

I couldn't find a Choate folder DBM, can you post a link?

Im sorry I posted the wrong second stock and I meant to ask about the center feed stock (Savage Tactical Short Action Center Feed Model 10). I called Choate and they said the action is too wide right in front of the bolt handle due to the bolt release.

Would a modification be difficult?

Maybe I am missing something, but I find it odd that Choate will market a stock specifically for that rifle, and then say the rifle won't fit in it.

I put a B&C medalist on mine recently, FWIW. I'm pleased with it.
