Savage 110 extractor

Has anyone come up with an improvement for the Savage 110 extractor? Apparently the main failure mode is for all the little parts to not be there when you realize there's a problem. I do note that the used gun parts vendors seem to be out of them.
 
Sharpshooter supply has a version that I have heard good things about. I plan on ordering a couple for myself.
