Savage 116 trigger

Anyone know how to adjust the trigger on a Savage 116 , it is not the accu trigger . I see there is 3 set screws but dont want to mess with them untill I know what one does the adjustment .
I adjusted my Tikka the other night in about 2 min. Had to make that one a little stronger pull . Came from the factory way to light to hunt with . I thought I might be able to do some thing with the Savage .

I've heard it helps to replace the wire spring with .045 piano wire.
