Hi Guys

Does anyone make an adjustable trigger for Savage rifles?
I bought a Savage model 111 last year and the only thing I dont like about it is the heavy trigger pull.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
Andy

Rifle Basix makes a very nice aftermarket trigger for the Savage rifles. They are a drop-in and are easy to install and adjust. Also not that expensive.

Another vote for Rifle Basix. I got one as a Xmas present and I couldn't be happier. A drunk retarded monkey could install it (if it follow the instructions) and it feels very nice. Previously I adjusted my 10FP trigger as described in the link above, and while it did help a lot, it doesnt compare with the Rifle Basix one. I will never understand why Savage used that silly straight spring layout.

Thanks for the advise guys!

Im going to try adjusting it myself using Siscos link.
If Im not satisified with the results,I'll get a Rifle Basix unit.

Try the adjustable trigger marketed by Sharp Shooter Supply. I have one in a .308 Savage Scout, and love it. I keep mine adjusted to the heaviest setting of 2 pounds - it can go down to mere ounces, which is great for benchrest and varminting, but scary on a walk-around rifle!
