Savage 720?

Hey everyone I've been a big fan of the old "humpback" Browning A5's ever since my father in-law gave me his 1928 Light 12. So today I went to a local gun show and found what I think is a perfect example of Savage 720 16 ga. The bluing and furniture are in almost as new condition. Has anyone ever been able to break down the serial numbers on these? It has a 35XXXX so I was trying to get an approximate year for my paperwork I keep on all my guns and also see if any of you can give me a little knowledge on these shotguns.

I don't know of a serial number chart for these. 720's made in the late 60,000 to 90k range are supposed to be WWII era guns,yours is probably pre-war made in the 1930s.
