Savage 93FV .22 mag

Picked up new Savage FV .22 may today. I put a ding in a couple of rounds trying to load that magazine beyond 3 rounds. Took the may apart and cleaned and lubricated everything. Seems to chamber and eject now. Has anyone else had any magazine/feeding problems?

Will try to head to the range tomorrow and verify.

Yep.

The mags are cheap. Usually they need double springs to load correctly. Another common problem is the firing pin being a couple thousands short resulting in light strikes. Happened on my lefty 93. I only load four and always load the may with the bolt back.
