Hi All!! Anyone have any pros or cons to impart on me with regards to a Savage Mark 2 22lr rifle. I am looking at one on auction. Looks great and I believe the condition is excellent. Looking for a plinker rifle or for target shooting. Any input would be helpful over the next 3 days, before auction ends. Thanks

I've shot 3 of them and they are quite accurate when you use good ammo. Can't beat the price either.

Gonna go for it!!!!!!!!!!

Talked to the little Women, Told her I was looking to pick up a 22 rifle and she said go for it,"Its your money". Wow, if I get this one, that will be 4 (four) guns this year. And it's only April. Appreciate the Input and still looking for more input over the next couple of days

they are a just fine rifle, i mean , you could do better for more money, but these will sink any varmint at 100 yds just fine.

I've had some feeding problems when running the bolt anywhere below lightspeed, the finish scratches quite easily, and I'll occasionally cut myself on the magazine, but it's otherwise a great rifle.

I hit four clays at 150 yards in four shots the other day with my MKII. :)

Mines been great for the last couple years I have had it. Mines the pre Accutrigger MKII and its still a great rifle. I would buy one with the Accutrigger in a heartbeat.

They are great rifles, best for the money IMO, and accuracy wise, easily the equal of the CZ 452. (it just is not as good looking to some and the stocks are lacking) I shoot mine out past 100yd with crap ammo and do just fine, golf ballsare very afraid if i have a zero.:D
