Savage-Stevens Rifles

Being under a recoil restriction I'm always on the lookout for a good bargain on anything 243 and under. I'm currently interested in getting a rifle in .222 Rem. Any feedback on Savage 340 and 840 models would be appreciated.

Go HERE on the Savageshooters forums and ask. there are some guys there that are truly knowlegeable about that era of Savage.

there is also a guy there who has a 340 in 30-30, kinda interesting.
