While fondling as many pistols as possible at the gun show this past weekend I came across a pistol I'd never seen before...the Zigana, made in Turkey. I have to say they appeared to be very well made. Fit and finish were good. There were several different models offered, one with a wild looking "compensated" slide, :scrutiny: full size and compact, 9mm and .45acp.

Does anyone own one of these and if so is it worth the money. Are they reliable and accurate? Can you educate me on this brand. All models the seller had were priced at a modest $369 and I bet he would have come down a little if I haggled. Being completely ignorant of the gun, I walked away. There's another show in a month. Should I buy one or is it not worth the effort. In general I believe Turkey produces quality arms, but I place credence in first hand experience.

Haven't seen any in South TX, but saw the original presentation on the "Firing Line". There are a number UTUBE videos showing shooting (including the full auto versions), manufacturing processes, and sales pitch.

They have some good looking handguns. Except for the slide-mounted safety, I really am interested in the F Model.

One note, I expect relacement parts, mags, holsters, etc. etc. would be real scarce unless they catch on.
The company rep and others stressed that these weren't CZ clones, but an all new handgun.

If you find them, let us know.

P.S. There were some of the earlier 45 models 4 sale on the internet. Seems like they were about $375 then.
