SBR AK project moving forward - Stamp came in!

Stamp came in today for my SBR AK project. Have an appointment with the engraver tomorrow then it will be time to start putting it all together and have some fun!

Took 8 1/2 months total, first 3 months and denied for a clerical error (My fault) 5 1/2 months on this last wait. All good now and I'm a happy camper.

Very nice! I have a few stamps (my first ones) waiting to be processed, the wait can be a killer. Look forward to pictures of your build.

This is my second SBR and I already have several suppressors so needless to say I have got a lot of money tied up in stamps!

Hopefully pics to come soon after visiting the engraver!
 
Visited the engraver this morning so she is all legal.

TIMC, what all parts did you use on that build? I've got an M92 and M85NP to SBR. I love the look of your's!

Very nice! I'm waiting for my stamps so can assemble my Draco-C, and chop my Mini 14.

Nicely put together little blaster you have there! Love how it looks and how compact it is.
 
My Form 1 came back TWO YEARS AGO, and the pieces for my Magal replica are still in a plastic tub out in the shop.

Well, at least I won't have to wait around once I get some round tuits...
 
Speaking for Form 1's being approved... anyone see the wild downturn on NFA tracker over the last month?

I know NFA tracker can't be 100% accurate, but that's a pretty solid increase in approval rate (and it's more than just onesy twosies). I wonder if the rumors I was hearing about the NFA branch focusing on Form 3's leading up to 41F is true... this seems to indicate that they are freed up to work on the backlog of other forms.

The mini-14 is going to look really nice, as well as the AK!!

The one that is on it does not sit right, I have a Hogue grip on the way for it.
