I'm currently running an M&P15 carbine w/ mid-length Troy rail
and I'd like to move to a 10.x" barrel.
I'm sure there have been plenty of posts on this very subject
but my internet search time is limited nowadays.
What brands are great, good, and what should I avoid?
I hear Noveske and LMT make great barrels.
What are some things to watch out for?
I have replaced barrels before so I'm familiar with removing and reinstalling
a barrel at the upper and reinstalling a gas block and muzzle break.
I'll probably go chrome lined w/ a 1:7 twist but I suppose I could
be convinced otherwise.
