SBR Glock?

I know that when you make an SBR you have to engrave name, address, etc. on the receiver of the firearm. So when doing this with a Glock (or any other polymer framed pistol) would the engraving be fine on the plastic, or does the ATF want it on metal like the serial #?

You need to engrave the frame, receiver, or barrel. If that isn't practical you can apply for a variance from BATFE. There is no guarantee they will approve your variance of course.
