I have a Smith Corona 1903A3 with a SC marked barrel . The barrel is shiny with strong rifling, though a couple lands do show some frost. 1 / 16 " + of bullet shows when doing the " bullet test " using Danish M-2 ball. Metal finish is excellent park. ( 95 % ) on bbl. & receiver with no rust or pits. The butt plate has no remaining finish and shows remnants from light rust. The bolt has an " X ", deeming it SC make. The action is very smooth, yet locks up tight. The straight stock is in very good overall condition with just a very few light scratches & dings. It has had an arsonal repair on the wrist. ( looks to be a small brass pin with points ground off ) It has a faint 1/2 " "circle P" behind the trigger guard and a " 2 " just ahead of the trigger guard. The main stock hardware shows about 80 % finish. The handguard has a hairline crack on the last segment closest to the muzzle, but is not very noticeable. The sights are in fine shape and the rifle is very accurate and totally reliable. Opinions on it's approx. worth ? Thanks
