In preparation for the 2004 U.S. Senate election, NRA-ILA is hosting a FREE Grassroots-Election Workshop in Columbia, S.C. on Saturday, August 14th from 8:00 until Noon (including continental breakfast) at the Sheraton Hotel (I-20 at Bush River Rd.).

This workshop will provide NRA members with training on what they can do locally to propel candidates like the very pro-gun U.S. Senate candidate Jim DeMint to victory in 2004. The meetings also provide a venue for lawmakers, NRA endorsed candidates, and their staffs to reach out to NRA members and explain their positions on gun owner rights.

If you have not already done so, please register today. If you have registered, please register a friend or fellow member. NRA members who are interested in attending can reserve their seats on-line:

http://www.nraila.org/workshops/Register.aspx?ID=wcolumbia04

Or by calling NRA-ILA Grassroots at 800-392-8683.

P.S. The Demint campaign will be on-hand to give an update on the race and to ask for our help. This important meeting will show us how we can help elect a pro-gun U.S. Senator. The South Carolina senate race is attracting national attention. By electing Jim DeMint we can ensure that South Carolina has two pro-gun Senators (something we've never had in my lifetime).
