(SC) Governor Signs Historic Gun Bill

The effort to overturn South Carolina's terrible one handgun/thirty day restriction is now over. Governor Mark Sanford signed H.3442 today, thus overturning the 27 year old law.

Thanks to Governor Sanford, the SC House and Senate. And congratulations to the Gun Owners of South Carolina (GOSC) and the National Rifle Association (NRA) who led this effort.

Kim Possible: cartoon about a coed crime-fighting team of high school kids who battle evil international masterminds. When not fighting crime, they hang out at Bueno Nacho and go to cheerleading practice. Oh, and one of them has a naked mole rat as a pet. "Booya" is one of their catch phrases, although I'm sure it predates the show. Probably a variant of the Marine grunt.

It is a great cartoon for kids, and has some good in-jokes for adults. Crudity is at a minimum. Very empowering for girls. My 5-year-old daughter now wants to get into martial arts. Our YMCA has mixed beginner Tae Kwon Do classes for adults and kids. Might sign up with her next year when she reaches the minimum age. It would be an interesting sight, me a hulking 40 year-old, and her a slender wisp of a thing. She'd probably kick my keister.

But back on subject now. I have bought multiple handguns at a time. Ordered two milsurps to minimize shipping charges. Have yet to see them used for nefarious purposes. Thank God for freedom.
