I currently have a Lee Safety Scale. I'm using a scoop to drop about the right amount of powder onto the scale and then trickle a bit more into the pan. However, since the pan hangs by a hook I need to navigate around that hook to add the additional powder.
I'm looking for a balance beam scale that would have a plate to hold the powder pan instead, like the balance beam scales used in school. Then I would be able to have the same access to the pan as a digital scale, but have the sensitivity of a balance beam scale.
Everything I've come up with on line though is in grams instead of grains though. So, is there such a beast, or should I settle for a digital scale?
