I have rec'd an Email from the guns america website advocating selling all your guns that you don't really use before the "new regime" takes over and imposes all sorts of restrictions no sales, transfers, etc. While that may be true, could they just want to promote sales to line their own pockets?

There it is... got it today.

It really irked me. I'm done with that site. They send these stupid emails every so often. This one is over the top.

Where did they dream up this 30% number?

They are just trying to instill fear in their users for profit, and it's disgusting. I won't support a shooters organization that tries to scare shooters so they can turn a buck.

Get lost GA, lose my email addy.

Sounds like a total scare tactic. IMHO opinion the only thing on the chopping block is sporting carbines (assault rifles, as they call them) and high cap mags.

Yeah, I think it's a scare tactic. I grimace as I look around...Fear, Fear, Fear...everywhere. As if folks in the south will suddenly stop buying and selling gear because it's "illegal". May be less sales on the internet, but parking-lot transfers will be more frequent. LOL. I think we may have bigger problems if it comes to those sorts of restrictions anyway...
