Was in a local gun shop about a week ago and while browsing the used rifle rack I noticed a K31. I just gave it a quick glance and noticed the price was $179. I grew up seeing these advertised in the back of gun rags for under $30 so my first thought was that this price was way too high. I just walked off and looked at other things. After I got home I started thinking about it. A lot of water has flowed under the bridge since rifles were that cheap and that rifle was super clean, at least from what I saw. There was no cosmoline on it, the bluing looked 100%, I didn't notice a single ding or scratch on the metal. The stock looked like it was beech and had some minor pitting on the buttstock. What do you guys think of this. Is $179 a fair price for a K31 in this condition? I have this urge to go back there and buy it.
