Hi all, here's my Schofield Uberti. Fan of shoulderstocks (not historically for Schofield) I commissioned a gunsmith. He did the job to make fit a Howdah's shoulderstock on my Schofield.
Later, a friend engraved both the grips and the shoulderstock.
I reload the 45 ACP with black powder.

Very handsome example you have there.
Did you purchase the tax stamp, and register it as a SBR (Short Barreled Rifle) ?
If not, what justification did your gunsmith give for not doing so?

Hi, that handgun, with or not shoulderstock, need the highest level of authorization in France

Reminds me of the stock that went on the Webley revolver.

Interesting means of attachment. Looks well done.

I noted that one poster ask about "tax stamps". I think we sometimes forget that we have forum members from other countries. It's nice to know that there are others around the world who believe in the RKBA, and in many places they have to jump through some pretty tight hoops to own firearms.

It's much harder to tell when they write English better than we Americans...
