I'm wanting a 44 that can handle full house loads. Yeah, the Ruger Redhawk and Super Redhawk are up for consideration, but I was wondering if any of the Dan Wesson's would be good candidates.

DW 44's will stand up with the Rugers for full house loads all day long. Anything you can feed a Ruger, you feed a Dan.

Plus you can load a bit longer in the dan wesson. ONly oddity with some blue 44DW is since the parts were heaterteated differently ,like the barrel shroad and blued seprately the frame on some 44 turned purple over time. Shore his no affect with there ability to shoot better than most any other. I picked one up a couple years back with a 8" and both vented and unvented barrels for 450. Put a burris red dot on it . Heres 2 of my 3 dws. Zoom in and you can see the color difference.
