Good Morning, Afternoon or Evening to you all!

This is my first post so I apologies if this isn't the right area for this question. I am looking into picking up a 6.5x55 rifle and I was very close to sold on a Sako 85 Finnlight but had a listing come up for a used Schultz and Larsen and now I am a bit torn. Any information that you could provide would be great! I should probably mention the Sako is about twice the cost of the S&L but is also brand new.

Thank you in advance!!

I've found you most often get what you pay for.....Just be sure you have enough left to put a decent scope on whichever rifle you choose.

Sako 85 would be my choice, they are excellent rifles. The triggers break like glass and they are accurate as heck.

I have a Sako L691 in 300 Wby and it would be the last firearm I would sell. RIfles like that are real treasures and very accurate.

I only own 1 Schultz and Larsen. Mine is a beast. Very accurate, generally .25" (5 shot) at 100. It will do better, still working on it. The PO used to shoot a lot of cast out of it and did well, I plan to try that also. I can't remember my particular model but the action is very stout. I would also consider a Schultz

Thank you all for the replies! I think I'll go ahead and pick up the Sako Finnlight but I really appreciate the advice! Just a heck of a leap to take....now on to leap #2, the glass! I'm going to see if they will give me a deal on a package, I'm new to "high end" rifles but I know for what I'm paying I don't think it's unreasonable to ask.
