Scope for a 308 handy rifle

I'm looking for a scope for a 308 handy rifle. I'm thinking I need something that will hold up to a 308 AR. The traditional scopes won't hold zero and I believe it's due to the jolt of opening and closing of the break open barrel. This will not need to shoot over 300 yards so I don't need anything crazy expensive.

I had two different cheap Barskas on a .223 Handi-Rifle, and never had a problem with zero. (Except when my son would borrow it and rezero for him.) I had a 4-12x56, switched to a 6.5x20 cause I wanted the higher magnification. I usually don't whang them open though, just pop 'em open and catch the case.
