I recently picked up a Stevens M200 in .223 at auction to fill out the "long range varmint" spot in my collection. It came topped with what appears to be a nicely made 4x12 scope. I can't find any manufacturers marks on the scope however, and I'm not that familiar with them (most of my long guns are iron sight mil-surp).

I was hoping one of the walking encyclopedias around here might recognize it. I accounted for the scope in my bid price, I'm hoping I didn't get burned too badly.

Here's a pic of from the auction house, can post others if necessary http://www.proxibid.com/asp/showImageFullSize.asp?url=/AuctionImages/2277/24768/janauction97_2.jpg&t=STEVENS

Thanks in advance for any info.

Neat. I knew one of you guys would nail it. Much obliged.

(looked up the banner, sure appears to be the one. Looks like I about broke even on relative cost, good enough for me)

Edit - I think it may be a Bushnell, but not a Banner. From what i can tell Banners were only available in matte, and mine is all kinds of gloss. Browsing google image search like a nut now....
