If you already have a conventional scope, just practice holding a flashlight alongside the forearm. As long as the light doesn't back-scatter into the scope, you can see the crosshairs quite easily.
Or, have a second person work the light, making sure they're not behind the scope...
Me and a couple of buds do almost all of our fox hunting at night. Two of us use .22s w/ open sights and the other uses a .17 HMR w/ a BSA Sweet 17 scope. He can see and shoot better with the scope than we can with the open sights. Of course good spotlights are a necessity.
