scope mount for Marlin 1895 Trapper

Does anyone know if the scope mounts and bases that fit a Remington Marlin 1895 will fit a Ruger Marlin 1895? I want to mount a scope on my Ruger Marlin 1895 but I can't find anywhere that tells me whether they use the same or different mounts or bases.

Use to be a Weaver #63 base would fit all 336 type actions.

Compare these dimensions. .5 between holes and 2.75 between front and back holes.

I did that and the dimensions looked correct if I trust my cheap micrometer. I would like to back that up with some other verification. I messaged Ruger and they couldn't say positively.

The answer is yes. I have both, they are the same. Identical. Of course they are. And they both, Remington and Ruger, are the same as a JM as well .
