Been bow only for a while, pulled out the muzzle loader and mounted a scope. While I was bore sighting I noticed I had to turn the dial the opposite direction (up for it to move down)to get it bore sighted. Is this me or is something wrong? thanks

Nope, nothing wrong. When you are bore sighting, you are moving the scope's aiming point into alignment with the bore as you look down it. The adjustment dials on the scope, however, assume that you are moving the bullet's point of impact (or the barrel's aim point) into alignment with the scope. When you start fine tuning the scope by adjusting the dials to bring the bullet's point of impact into alignment with the point of aim, the directionality of the dials will be correct.

Putting a scope on a muzzle loader is just wrong.... It's like putting pickles on a peanutbutter and jelly sandwich! Lol

I like Pickles with my peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, I also like to drip Sardine oil on it.And My old eyes ain't what they used to be and a scope helps me see what I am doing better. But I kinda agree with you(some).lol:uhoh:

Sometimes you have to make adjustments to keep doing the things you like to do. ;)
