Need a new scope for my Stevens 200 30-06. Narrowed it down to these 2 bad boys. Don't worry, I made sure they are long enough to fit. Weigh in please... =).

If you go with the Burris, you can order from Adorama and get a free GPS. Edit: Burris scopes have a lifetime warranty. For some reason Adorama only list the warranty as one year, so they may not be an authorized retailer. Just a heads up.

Here's me walking a few .308's in @ 100yds. That's a four shot group in the end. I quite like mine (note: I don't have experience with that many scopes).

I have both. They are both good scopes, the burris seems darker, but seems tougher. The buckmasters is bright, but the elevation and windage knobs always confuse me...they are backwards from other scopes, when you rotate the knobs "R" to move to a bullet impact that is to the right. Most scopes I have used you move the crosshairs "R" when the bullet is to the left.

I was unable to get any real info from dealers on where the Nikon is made. Any info from the peanut gallery?
TIA

That GPS really isn't free. The Burris is a $200 scope, so you are paying at least $40 for that thing.

And how much darker is the Burris?

The Nikon is much brighter and clearer than the Burris. Do yuorself a tremendous favor and get the Nikon!

The Nikon is brighter than most, ultra reliable and durable, and very attractively priced. I would go with the Nikon as well.

OK. Now, my next question is... Where do I get the best prices on these?

I found the best prices on ebay. I just waited for a deal to come buy and I bought the scopes.

I forget the exact numbers, but think the buckmasters was about $160 + shipping. The burris might have been $170 + shipping.
