Not to brag, but sometimes it is good to share....

Yesterday, scored a Stainless Steel Colt Mustang Pocket lite .380. The individual actually carried it for a while in his pocket. As such has a few scratches on the finish. It looks to have been fired under 100 rounds. In good shape. Came out very fair on the price. Included with two mags and some ammo.

You Know divorce sucks, when it causes you to part with your collections.....

Goody...

Seldom seen one in stainless. I did find a Gov't. model yesterday in a pawn shop. It'd seen better days and the ask on it was around 450. I passed.

Get us some pictures.

Regards,
Rabbit.

Congrats

They are great little guns. My MK IV/Series 80 digests any ammo I feed it without complaint. It is a favorite of my sons, in fact one of them is taking it to the range today.

I just love these guns. I had a Mustang Pocketlite but then I accuired a Govt .380 Stainless/Pocketlite.
Even better! More shootable to me, slightly hard to carry but good gosh this thing is a great little gun.

Agreed, Like my Gov Colt 380 as well. Got it a few years ago in blue. It was a hard disision then since the guy had a couple of Mustangs (new, from 1991) at the time. Was trying to figure out how to buy one of each.... However the funds just were not there....

He is no longer in buisness. If he was and they were there, they would be mine.... Even with my big hands, I like shooting them.

I'll have to get a picture of all the little colts in a row..... with the big brothers

I also scored one a few months ago, found it in a pawn shop, it had just came in and looked like it been shot maybe 50 times and then stuck in a drawer for 10-15 years, the slide was very sticky and gummed up and the guy told me he would let me have it for $250!!!! I jumped on that deal and after fieldstripping and cleaning it up good it turned out to be a sweet little piece that shoots great and eats anything I feed it. Here it is...

I had mine out in yard this morning and ran 4 mags thru her as always perfect. I fired 1 mag of Magtech HP ,1 of Rem 102,1 winchester ball ,1 of Corbon90grHP . Watch ejector when you clean they can be a problem if it flips. If that happens DO NOT TRY TO PUSH BACK WITH A MAG. This part almost inpossible to find if damaged.

They are great little guns, nice find. :) I have never shot a Mustang. I went with the bigger Government Pocketlite because it fit better for me.

Like someone else mentioned, don't let that ejector flip downward. If it does, out comes the reading material. :banghead:
