Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia Dies at West Texas Ranch

U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia has been found dead at a luxory resort in west Texas, news outlets are reporting. The Justice apparently died of natural causes.

According to a report, Scalia, 79, arrived at the ranch on Friday and attended a private party with about 40 people, The San Antonio Express News reported. When he did not appear for breakfast, a person associated with the ranch went to his room and found a body.

U.S. District Judge Fred Biery said he was among those notified about Scalia’s death.

Supreme Court Justice Anonin Scalia was found dead while on a hunting trip in Texas. He was 79.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott released a statement that said, in part, ""Justice Antonin Scalia was a man of God, a patriot, and an unwavering defender of the written Constitution and the Rule of Law."
