And yes, I genuinely like the NEF Pardner Pump. Except for the placement of the controls, which is a completely subjective personal preference thing, I'd say it's every bit as good as the Mossberg 500 I keep as my personal HD gun.
 
I agree, The NEF pump guns are tough, well built and reliable.Almost any aftermarket add on's, including stocks ,that fit the 870 will fit the NEF's.
 
Which I took full advantage of. About a month after I filmed that episode (I did the filming for it before January), I put a Knoxx topfolding stock and a heat shield on it.

It's now the PERFECT gun to go in a scabbard on my backpack or vest. (The heat shield is because it's hard to put the gun back in the scabbard without grabbing the barrel).
