I just traded in my old HD Mossberg Maverick pump for a NEF Pardner Pump - Turkey 22" that I saw on clearance at Gander Mountain.

One thing that puzzles me though is the disassembly and cleaning instructions. I'd taken the Mossberg down many times for cleaning, and this NEF Pardner is fairly similar, being a pump and all. BUT, the instruction book simly says for cleaning to remove the barrel and clean it, and "further disassembly is not recommended". So how the H are you supposed to clean all surfaces of the bolt, if you can't pull the bolt out? There are pins in about the same location as on the Mossberg, and it appears to me that I could drift out the pins, remove the trigger group, and then pull the rest of the insides out to clean.

Of course, it's getting it back together that has me concerned and why I'm not about to just jump in with all 4 feet. Does anyone here have any experience with the Pardner pump line, and have any suggestions or advice as to what to do? I haven't called cust. service yet about this issue, although I did talk to someone about what kinds of ammo were ok to shoot with which chokes. Hopefully someone on the phone up there will know?
