Getting a used Security-Six here soon, I have been thinking of sight options. I kow Ruger uses the same adustable sights on most of thier wheel guns.

What kind of sight options have you guys played with? Night sights, ring sights, fiber optic sights?

Have any pics?

black on black, daily, since 1981. Use a decent flashlight properly and you are good for night work. Spend the money on ammo.

Thanks Dienekes, but ammo isn't a concern of mine, I have 1800 rounds of .357 and 3500 .38 (I bought out a couple of guys Y2K stocks, that is why I am buying the six) and several thousand cases with enough bullets to keep me reloading for a long time. I just thought I would explore some options.

:) I've got a 6" secuity six that I just put on Millet white outline rear & orange front sight on.Great improvement. This is one great gun that deserves better sights.Frame reqired minor modification to fit rear sight(easy to do).instuctions came with sight.Got mine from Midway when they had sale.Be aware there are two different models depending on age of gun(S/N).This ones diffinitly a forever keeper.

testors

I just put some testors day-glo orange paint on the frt. sight of my sec. six.it makes it so much easier to focus on that frt. sight.the stuff is real cheap to boot.make an already great shooting gun even better.
